9 Ups & 4 Downs From Impact Wrestling (2 Feb)

1. Suspended, Again?

Ken Shamrock's post-show rampage last week, taking out referee Brandon Tolle, a pool of security, and even his seemingly now-former tag partner Sami Callihan, was great. It reminded you of how dangerous 'The World's Most Dangerous Man' actually could be when turned loose.

The aftermath of that assault, though? Not so great.

Last year's Hall of Fame inductee has been suspended indefinitely by Impact EVP Scott D'Amore, less than one month after returning from his previous suspension. Yes, your writer is fully aware that this suspension is a tiny bit different in the sense that it's for an undisclosed period of time rather than a singular month, however, two suspensions in such a short period of time feels like a cheap way out.

We know Shamrock is getting on in life, and so maybe can't be working a full-time schedule in-ring, but he doesn't need to be written off this way every time he does something wrong. What's worse is that this was the plan all along; for Shamrock to be unleashed, and transform back into the Ken Shamrock of old. Even from a kayfabe perspective, this makes little to no sense.
