9 Ups & 4 Downs From Impact Wrestling (Feb 25)
8. The Build Continues
Impact Wrestling seemingly have high hopes for Chris Bey now that he's signed with the company. They've used him a few times here and there, but his official signing across the dotted line was confirmed last week, and the build for his proper debut continued on this week's episode.
While at this stage all we know is that he's a charismatic and agile performer, he's no doubt going to be a huge boost for the X division, which is vastly needed seeing as one of the division's top stars - Rich Swann - is currently out with an ankle injury. 'The Ultimate Finesser' is surely going to be a huge name in the months that follow, given how amazing a wrestler he's already proven himself to be in matches with the likes of Jake Crist.
You don't get tryouts with three top companies (Impact, as well as WWE and Ring Of Honor) within weeks of each other if you're a terrible athlete. All that it depends on now is if Impact handles him correctly.
