9 Ups & 4 Downs From Last Night's WWE SmackDown

3. Top Guy Stuff

The Revival Otis

How great is this Revival/Randy Orton alliance? You can totally imagine these grumpy old f*cks sat at a bar after the show, drinking straight whisky (no ice), bemoaning flippydoos, pouring one out for Harley Race, and gushing over all the Mid-South they've been watching on the Network.

The Revival were battered by Kofi Kingston earlier in the night. That wasn't a good look for them, but they cut a solid promo laying into the "cowardly" New Day later on. Dash and Dawson then challenged the SmackDown Tag Team Title-holders for Clash of Champions. This led to Heavy Machinery coming out and we had a tasty little midcard scrap on our hands.

A fun bout concluded with Otis tagging the much-improved Tucker in following the Caterpillar, but Tucky was cut off and Dash cradled him for the 1-2-3. The right outcome to cap a solid night for the 'Top Guys.'
