9 Ups & 4 Downs From Last Night's WWE SmackDown

6. Shoved Off Her Perch

Charlotte Flair vs. Bayley is a potentially awesome feud that should help take the SmackDown Women's Championship division to the next level following the disappointment of Ember Moon's recent title challenge.

It came about during last night's Moment of Bliss, with 'The Queen' as boastful and braggadocious as ever. Her claim that she was the face of the division, more marketable than Bayley, and is SmackDown brought the champ from the back. Fired up, 'The Hugger' rubbished everything Charlotte said and accepted her challenge, then, in a surprising move, shoved her to the ground. At least she didn't try to destroy her ankle.

This has the potential to be an excellent feud with at least one excellent pay-per-view match, and with both divisions now built around the Horsewomen, it feels like the Raw and SmackDown Women's Championship scenes are on the rise. Bayley, Flair, Sasha Banks, and Becky Lynch could all be in singles action at Clash of Champions. That's an exciting prospect.
