9 Ups And 3 Downs From WWE NXT Takeover: Brooklyn

1. Fight Like A Girl

Another NXT Takeover special, another show-stealing performance from the NXT women. It€™s beginning to become old hat, as the women completely overshadow everything happening at the main roster level. Even though Sasha Banks, who lost her NXT Women€™s Championship to Bayley Saturday, is on the WWE roster with several other NXT women, her match with Bayley blew away anything that has been on television since the Divas Revolution started. That€™s not a knock against the women in WWE, but a compliment to Sasha and Bayley. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HjG0In9qMn0 The two women unloaded on each other, with Banks talking trash and hitting a somersault plancha to the floor on Bayley after ruthlessly trying to re-break her hand. They fought over a crossface, and they battled on the top rope multiple times. Bayley pulled off a top rope reverse hurricanrana before nailing a Bayley-to-Belly for the title. Watch this match and try to find a flaw with it. This underdog story had a wonderful ending and it showed exactly what the women in NXT (and now WWE) are capable of.
