9 Ups And 5 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (Dec 3rd)

1. Breaking Up Is Hard To Do

It’s a rarity when a duo breaks up and both wrestlers have good points about why they no longer are partnering.

But that was the case Monday night when Drew McIntyre cut ties with Dolph Ziggler, and Dolph pointed out his role in helping Drew. McIntyre received a “Raw gold medal of excellence” from acting GM Baron Corbin when Ziggler came out and wondered why he wasn’t featured in the video or invited to the ceremony, noting that help brought Drew to Raw and together they ran roughshod over the program.

McIntyre fired back that Dolph was the weak link who only existed to get him into a more prominent position. That led Ziggler to dropping Drew with a Zig-Zag, and then winning an impromptu match after Finn Balor intervened.

And to make matters better, McIntyre then cut a scathing promo backstage solidifying his position, calling Dolph a parasite and Finn a marked man. It was a pretty strong series of segments right there in the middle of the program.
