9 Ups And 5 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (Dec 3rd)

2. Finn Wises Up

After last week’s debacle, where Finn Balor knew he was marching into a trap and did it anyway, it was good to see the babyfaces finally stand together.

Finn Balor led the charge twice in rapid succession, first helping out a rebelling Dolph Ziggler by hitting Drew McIntyre with a shotgun dropkick outside the ring when the referee was distracted. That allowed Ziggler to hit a superkick for the win (McIntyre’s first singles loss since coming back to WWE) as Drew crawled back into the ring.

Later, Balor helped out Elias, who had chased off Lio Rush and Bobby Lashley with his guitar, and then returned to the stage. Suddenly, Rush was propelled back onto the stage, and Elias blasted him with the Fender.

It turned out that Finn had caught Lio and served him up. The two babyfaces gave a knowing nod to each other, which considering both were triple-teamed last week, was good to see.
