9 Ups And 6 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (Dec 26)

1. Strowman Still A Force

WWE has started moving Braun Strowman up the food chain this fall and winter, pitting him against Sami Zayn, and now inserting him into confrontations with Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins. And they’ve managed to not screw it up yet.

Strowman faced Rollins Monday night because Seth wanted revenge for last week’s attack, and Braun basically manhandled the former world champ. Strowman tossed Rollins around, barely being affected by his offense. It was something the announcers keyed in on: Rollins is a two-time world champion and he never really got out of the blocks, save for a short flurry of offense.

The only thing that saved Rollins (momentarily) was Zayn showing up and jumping Strowman in a hit-and-run attack, which was far better than Sami being absent from Raw again. All of this continued to show Braun as a dominant force who can hurt anyone on the roster rather than a master of the undercard.
