9 Ups And 6 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (Feb 8)

2. Career Retrospective

There€™s a lot you can criticize WWE about regularly, but one thing that has to get near-universal praise is the company€™s video package team. The people who put together the special video packages are top-notch and deserve a ton of credit for often making chicken salad out of chicken s***. But in the case of Daniel Bryan, the video makers did a masterful job of taking the man€™s career highlights and presenting them in a way that just built throughout Raw, until you could feel things reaching a climax with Bryan€™s announcement. They walked through Daniel€™s career, beginning with NXT, winning the United States Championship, winning Money in the Bank, Team Hell No, beating John Cena at SummerSlam, and of course, winning the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania XXX. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0hgRilxPup0 If you have the time, sift through the videos on WWE€™s YouTube channel. There probably will be more done in the coming days on the WWE Network (or you could seek out the actual matches), but the videos are a great way to sum up Bryan€™s remarkable career.
