9 Ups And 6 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (Feb 8)

1. Thank You Daniel Bryan

Is there really any doubt what the top moment was Monday night? While it was the saddest moment too, Daniel Bryan getting to go out in front of his hometown fans, with his family in attendance was about the best scenario you could imagine. Bryan had the chance to walk down Memory Lane, thank the fans, and most importantly, soak in some much-deserved cheers. Despite it being an emotional moment, Daniel managed to send the crowd into fits when he announced that he and wife Brie Bella wanted to have kids soon, prompting a €œYes!€ chant. To that, Bryan replied, €œThat€™s what Brie says all the time!€ which then kickstarted a chant of, €œThat€™s what she said!€ (When did you ever think you€™d hear that chanted at a wrestling event?) https://youtu.be/y-z0NuXSO-Y?t=41m2s Hearing Bryan talk about everything he was grateful for €“ especially his father seeing him win the world title before he died €“ was heart-warming. Learning that he cut his hair to donate it for wigs to be made for kids with cancer told you more about Bryan€™s character. And seeing the locker room come out after Raw went off the air told you exactly what he has meant to WWE. Here€™s hoping that this is just the end of a chapter for Daniel Bryan€™s life with WWE, not the end of the book.

He fortunately became a fan in time for WrestleMania III and came back as a fan after a long high school hiatus before WM XIV. Monday nights in the Carlson household are reserved for viewing Raw -- for better or worse.
