Damien Sandow has not had a match on Raw since May 2015, so you can understand fans€™ reaction when the Intellectual Savior of the Masses was in the middle of the ring Monday night. It was like a unicorn sighting, with Sandow in the ring, ready for a singles match. Sure, the opponent was quickly revealed to be Baron Corbin, but at least he€™d get to have a match, right?

Wrong. WWE simply needed someone to be the fool in the ring who would take a forfeit after Dolph Ziggler, who is feuding with Corbin, appeared during Baron€™s entrance and ambushed him, leading to Corbin fleeing before the match ever started. Just like that, Sandow€™s opponent left, leaving us with no match for Damien, and allowing the dubious streak to continue.

Here€™s hoping we€™ll one day see Damien in a Raw match, maybe even winning.
