9 Ups And 7 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (March 7th)

8. KOMania Runs Wild

Did anyone else have a pit in their stomach when the announcers started talking about Neville getting into the hunt for an Intercontinental Championship match at WrestleMania if he could beat Kevin Owens on Raw? After KO traded countout wins with Big Show, you couldn€™t blame someone for thinking that we really were going to set up a multi-man IC title match by having everyone beat Owens.

Thankfully, Owens and Neville had a high-flying, high-impact match that ended with Owens doing the only thing he could do to stop the Man That Gravity Forgot: roll him up, grab the tights and sit down on him with all of KO€™s body weight. Cheap win? Maybe. But as JBL astutely noted, there€™s no such thing as a cheap win when you€™re a champion. You win or lose.

After losing to Show and Dean Ambrose last week, Owens definitely needed a win, and Neville is always good for a high-octane match (two Shooting Star Presses, twisting moonsault, etc.) that makes the win look even better.
