9 Ups And 7 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (March 7th)

7. Servin€™ Hard Time

If you grew up watching the WWF in the late 80s, then you most likely fondly remember the newest inductee into the WWE Hall of Fame, the Big Boss Man. The former prison guard from Cobb County, GA was an agile, athletic big man who had two memorable runs with the company.

It was the Boss Man€™s first run with WWF that most look back on fondly, and it€™s the one that the video package focused on Monday night. Boss Man started out as a villain in Slick€™s stable. He and Akeem made up the Twin Towers and battled Hulk Hogan on numerous occasions.

But it was his face turn and subsequent feud with the Heenan Family that really solidified his standing with fans. It was a great storyline, with Bobby the Brain insulting Boss Man€™s mother, and the prison guard swearing revenge, picking off each member of the Heenan Family, one at a time.

Sure, the Boss Man would compete in WCW for a few years (even joining the nWo briefly). And he would have a good second run in WWF/E as Mr. McMahon€™s enforcer, feuding with Al Snow (and killing his dog) and Big Show (and stealing his father€™s casket from the funeral). But it€™s his run in the 80s and early 90s that will likely get the most attention from longtime fans.
