9 Ups And 7 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (March 7th)

2. Sami Zayn Has Arrived

It€™s about damn time.

Last year, Sami Zayn showed up on Raw to answer John Cena€™s United States Championship open challenge. He blew out his shoulder before the match started and spent much of 2015 on the shelf. It was unfortunate for multiple reasons, but mostly because Sami was rumored to be headed to the main roster.

Then in January, Zayn returned to WWE as a surprise entrant in the Royal Rumble. He quickly tossed Kevin Owens €“ the man who beat Sami for the NXT Championship and put him on the shelf €“ and then disappeared into the ether again.

That ended Monday night, when Owens€™ attempt to injure Neville was thwarted by a re-debuting Zayn. Sami threw down with KO, pummeling him and knocking him out of the ring. This didn€™t look like a one-shot deal. Sami Zayn looks to finally be in WWE to stay €“ and he might be getting an Intercontinental Championship match out of it.
