9 Ups And 7 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (March 7th)

3. Y2AJ No More

There we go.

Ever since Chris Jericho bucked conventional wisdom at Fastlane and opted to shake AJ Styles€™ hand instead of punking him out, fans have been waiting to see when Y2J would turn on the Phenomenal One. Would they win the Tag Team Championships and defend them for a couple months before imploding? Would they break up at WrestleMania, ala Strike Force?

It looks like we didn€™t have to wait nearly that long, as Jericho attacked Styles with three Codebreakers after Y2AJ lost their tag title match to New Day. WWE smartly picked a city like Chicago, which loves AJ, to have Y2J assault him, thus garnering some big boos from the crowd. Jericho hammed it up, sneering and then retrieving a €œY2AJ€ T-shirt and stuffing it into Styles€™ mouth.

It looks like we€™ve got our WrestleMania match for AJ, and if they let it all hang out, it could be a showstealer.
