9 Ups And 7 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (March 7th)

2. What€™s The Point?

Is Kevin Dunn running wild backstage? Two women€™s matches, two rapid-fire bouts that ended before they ever got going. (Granted, one ending quickly was a blessing.) Considering that Becky Lynch, Sasha Banks, Naomi and Tamina all are capable of putting together a good tag team match, why would they cut it short like that? Why not just do a one-one-one match and have it end due to interference?

The backstage segment between Becky and Sasha hinted at dissension, or at least a building rivalry as WrestleMania approaches. The match then blinked by before anything could be built upon. And then Charlotte destroyed both women, which is fine in terms of keeping the champ strong, but again, it was out of nowhere after a nothing match.

The Divas Championship triple threat match is likely going to be really good if WWE takes the reins off and gives the women 10-15 minutes to shine. But stuff like this (save for Charlotte€™s beatdown, which worked to make her look like a dominant champ) doesn€™t add to the match.
