9 Ups And 7 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (March 7th)

1. Rock€™s Role?

We are now less than four weeks out from WrestleMania, and despite WWE plugging the Rock twice during Raw Monday night, there was nary a mention of what exactly the Great One will be doing at Mania.

The Rock was announced for WrestleMania some time ago, but we don€™t know if he€™s just cutting a promo, acting as host, wrestling (he€™s not) or appearing in his cousin Roman Reigns€™ corner to hopefully ward off boos. While the latter is probably true, it€™s odd that WWE would wait this long to announce what he€™ll be doing at Mania. If you€™re trying to sell tickets for WrestleMania, wouldn€™t you want to left fans know what they can expect?

If he does simply stand in Reigns€™ corner, he could overshadow Roman, or worse, fans could revolt against him as well. Sure, the Rock is a welcome presence, but there also is the potential for backlash, which would be quite the turnaround from how he's been received at the last five Manias.
