9 Ups And 9 Downs From WWE SummerSlam 2018

Oh, come on.

What started out as a comedy tag team trying to become a legitimate threat has given way to comedy champs, as the writers now are actively looking for ways to have the B-Team stumble into victories to hold onto their Raw Tag Team Championships.

Sunday, The Revival had things well in control, taking out Curtis Axel early and dominating Bo Dallas. But after a tag to Axel, the complexion of the match changed. However, Scott Dawson grabbed a small package for at least a five count. But the referee was tied up, and then Bo Dallas stumbled backward into the rollup, reversing the small package and allowing the ref to count a victory for Axel.

And just like that, the two-time NXT Tag Team Champions lost due to a clumsy partner. Compare that to the NXT tag title match Saturday night between Undisputed Era and Mustache Mountain… and then groan.
