9 Ways Impact Wrestling Can Successfully Rebrand

9. Move Out Of The Impact Zone

This is a move that already seems to be happening, but it cannot be stressed enough how important it is. Impact could put together a brand new show with a brand new roster and brand new championships, but the stink of the Impact Zone would still permeate the air. Impact's long-time home is every bit as cancerous as the company that frequents it.

Impact needs to produce wrestling in front of crowds that have paid to see wrestling, as opposed to disinterested tourists and louts. A change of scenery will do a world of good, and the rumoured move to Canada may well be the wisest decision the company has made in years.

Canada is a pro wrestling country, yet it remains one somewhat starved of internationally renowned pro graps. If Impact can make a new home in Ontario, they could also forge a situation where they get the best young talent available from north of the border. It is a win-win situation. The company gets away from its tired surroundings and moves into a far more receptive area, that just so happens to be where their parent company is based. This seems like a no-brainer.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
