We all know that the post-Mania Raw is a bigger deal, but now that the brand split is in full effect, it's time to establish the sister show as equally important. SD has already surpassed the red brand as the favorite among hardcore fans, with praise for the solid booking, well-structured storylines and focus on wrestling.
Now it's time to give the SmackDown after WrestleMania the same huge treatment that Raw gets - and what better way to do that than by introducing Shinsuke Nakamura?
As the rumors swirl that the former NXT champ is earmarked for Raw, the disappointment among fans is evident. Most feel that he'd be a better fit for the wrestling-centric blue brand, and perceive that show's roster as more fitting for Shinsuke to put on some great matches with (especially considering his history with one AJ Styles).
Even though Raw will always be Vince McMahon's priority, hopefully SD doesn't get lost in the shuffle and gets an equal amount of effort put into it. WWE should establish it and Raw as must-see TV the nights following the biggest show of the year.
