9 Ways To Make Sure WWE Fastlane 2016 Doesn't Suck

8. Kevin Owens Destroys Dolph Ziggler

In much the same way that Kalisto needs to bring an end to his rift with Del Rio, Kevin Owens needs to do the same with his infinite program involving Dolph Ziggler. It feels like these two have had a match on every WWE program for about six months straight, and there€™s absolutely no reason we need to see it again on pay-per-view. Kevin Owens should be one of the guys WWE is positioning as the future of the company. He€™s a wrestler€™s wrestler; awesome at every aspect of the business and does the little things better than just about anyone. He€™s on fire as a heel and when he eventually makes the switch to babyface there€™s no reason he won€™t be a top star for WWE. On the other hand it feels like Dolph ZIggler is on his last legs with WWE and we€™re watching his career come to a sputtering halt. He€™s a guy who always seemed to be on the verge but it€™s just never happened for him, and it probably never will. Despite that, he€™s still relatively over. Now€™s the time to take advantage of that. Kevin Owens needs to make a statement at Fastlane, and he needs to use Ziggler€™s broken body to do so. Nothing short of utter, humiliating defeat will be good enough, so that KO can move on to bigger and better things for WrestleMania, while Dolph goes back to perfecting his post-WWE stand-up routine. He hit his ceiling at the 2014 Survivor Series, and it€™s all downhill from there.
