Over the past few years, Vince McMahon has taken a back seat as an on-screen character, only appearing on Raw about once per year. He's 70 years old, and is hopefully transitioning to a retirement that he's absolutely earned. His daughter Stephanie and his son-in-law Triple H have assumed the role of heel authority figures in Vince's absence. But again...desperate times have called for desperate measures. In an effort to boost ratings, Vince McMahon came back semi-full time over the past few weeks, and it worked! Ratings have increased as Vince returned to his role from the Attitude Era as the main heel authority figure.
