9 Ways WWE Raw Setup Tonight's Draft

This one may be one of the more minor points on this list, but it’s one that adds a nice touch to proceedings all the same.

With the Miz on commentary for Darren Young’s match with Alberto Del Rio, the Intercontinental Champion revealed how he and Maryse had managed to finagle sticking together for the WWE Draft. His lawyer had in fact pulled through and managed to ensure the couple would remain as one, come what may on SmackDown.

Of course, Maryse also added that as they were married they couldn’t possibly contemplate being separated by the Draft, which may have been a less convoluted story.

But still, it's details like this that really add to Miz’s character and help to give us some kind of explanation regarding the workings behind the Draft. It may only be kayfabe, but at least it’s something.

Let’s just hope they explain the rest of the decisions at Tuesday’s Draft in a similar amount of detail.
