9 Ways WWE Raw Setup Tonight's Draft
3. Sin Cara & Kalisto
Another Raw revelation was the official news that Sin Cara and Kalisto were no longer a tag team. Michael Cole explained that the two had in fact announced their split on a Facebook Q&A earlier in the day, hence their separate listings for the WWE Draft.
This news, combined with the earlier announcement of the return of the Cruiserweight division, would suggest that despite their break-up, Sin Cara and Kalisto are both still likely to be drafted to the same place—although once they’re there they’ll be against one another, rather than on the same team.
WWE then gave us absolutely no reason whatsoever to believe in either of them as Baron Corbin handily beat up them both.
That’s really not the way you’d have envisaged them celebrating the return of the Cruiserweight division, and besides—why did Kalisto turn up after they’d talked up the fact that they’re no longer even a team?
None of this segment made too much sense, and those hopes for a Draft based on logic and reason are already fading fast.
