9 Wrestlers Who Didn't Learn From WWE Royal Rumble Mistakes

1. Albert - The Most Useless Royal Rumble Entrant Ever

To be frank, nobody has been as useless in Royal Rumble matches as Albert.

Sure, plentiful wrestlers may have had horrendous Rumble appearances that saw them do nothing of note. The thing is with Albert, he has the unique honour of having spent the most time in Royal Rumble contests without eliminating a single person.

Matt Bloom has been in six Royal Rumble matches - three as Albert, two as A-Train, and one as Lord Tensai - yet the hairy power-performer managed to never throw even one person out over the top rope in what totals a combined 46 minutes and 58 seconds of Royal Rumble action.

Considering that there were several moments when WWE saw Albert as a possible major player - such as having him win the Intercontinental Championship, having WrestleMania and SummerSlam matches against the Undertaker, and the strong initial push he was given upon debuting his Lord Tensai persona - it's a little jarring to realise that his six Royal Rumble appearances were all so fruitless.

As a performer, Bloom was great when used in the right way - see his Giant Bernard run in NJPW - yet WWE just never saw fit to do absolutely anything of substance with him across a total of six Royal Rumble events.
