Though the majority of the WWE Universe and stars signed to Vince McMahon's company were understandably over-the-moon when Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson finally returned 'home' in February 2011, it didn't take long for some members of the locker room to turn on the now-Hollywood megastar.

Simply put, certain WWE talents weren't happy with the fact that 'The Great One' was being gifted a main event spot at WrestleMania XXVIII. Rock was the epitome of a part-timer due to his various on-set commitments and those who were working their ass off all year round felt like they'd lost out due to his high-profile involvement.

In response to these rumours of backstage heat and a fan tweeting him, 'haters claim ur keeping them from wrestling @ Mania & they cant get over. Y couldnt they get over when u were gone?', the former WWE Champion said:

'The ones who are complaining are the ones who will never get over anyway, Too busy complaining.'

Clearly undeterred by those who felt he was stealing the spotlight away from current and future full-time performers, Rock went on to battle John Cena at two consecutive WrestleManias, with 'Mania 29 going down as the highest grossing live event in WWE history.
