9 Wrestlers Who Refused To Lose

4. Brock Lesnar (SummerSlam 2015)

WWE's booking of Brock Lesnar during his year back in the company was suspect, to say the least. Suffering high-profile defeats to the likes of John Cena and Triple H, it looked as though WWE were intent on neutering their new acquisition, stripping him of the aura that made him such a huge draw in the first place.

Thankfully, they got it right with his victories over CM Punk, The Undertaker and John Cena, rehabilitating the Beast Incarnate character to the point that when somebody actually beat him again, it would mean something. Lesnar was a one-man wrecking crew, running roughshod over the roster and neglecting to be pinned or submitted.

Although he lost at SummerSlam 2015 in his WrestleMania XXX rematch against The Undertaker, Lesnar never actually tapped or was down for a three count. Instead, referee shenanigans and Brock passing out to the Hell's Gate (after Brock had forced a tap with the Kimura, which Charles Robinson never saw) meant that Lesnar suffered the defeat in very controversial fashion.

Lesnar was so against giving 'Taker the satisfaction of a legit tapout victory that he offered The Deadman a one-fingered salute as he was in the process of losing consciousness.
