9 Wrestlers Who Took On Movie Roles You Won't Believe

3. Jeff Jarrett Played A Christian Youth Leader - Spring Breakers (2012)

Given how gifted some wrestlers are with microphones, it's a wonder that more of them haven't followed Sting into minstry and evangelism. Or at the very least selling on Home Shopping Networks.

In a surprising move, Jeff Jarrett put his own considerable charisma to good use by turning up as a Christian youth group leader. And inevitably, since this was the crazy upside-down world of Spring Breakers, he looked like he was an extra out of Sons Of Anarchy rather than a man of God, which is presumably the exact point.

Even more randomly, the part was supposed to be played by Val Kilmer, who had to drop out thanks to illness. Quite how anyone made the leap from Kilmer to Jarrett for an evangelist remains unconfirmed, but it's not the sort of character anyone famous with Old Slap Nuts would have picked out for him.
