9 Wrestlers WWE Never Turned Heel
2. Jeff Hardy
TNA's attempt to turn Jeff Hardy heel in late-2010 ended catastrophically when he succumbed to his drug addictions in early-2011, but the hideous scenes of his incapacitated effort against Sting in the Victory Road pay-per-view main event made his eventual babyface reemergence in WWE all the more satisfying.
It's a (sort of) happy (sort of) ending for a man that in 2018 could realistically be cast as WWE Champion should the company require a believable babyface to step in at virtually no notice.
At this point, he carries with him the prestige of several largely successful pushes. The Hardy Boyz were vital cogs in the engine of the Attitude Era, whilst Jeff himself can boast some hugely enjoyable periods particularly during his prosperous 2006-2009 return.
These spells are credit in the bank accounts of fans across WWE's vast age spectrum that allow Vince McMahon free reign to raid theirs. He at this stage a performer that inspires as much nostalgia in the parent as he does joy in the child - there's little rationale at this point to fiddle with that formula.
