9 Wrestling Gimmicks That Took YEARS To Get Over
8. The Gunns Are Finally Up After Being All Elite Since 2020
Having Billy Gunn has a father always ensured that both Austin and Colten would be somewhat popular with the All Elite faithful during their early days with the company.
However, despite clearly being two lads who boasted the same sort of giddy energy and personality as their old man, the pair never really found their own identities whilst working as part of the Gunn Club.
And it was only after walking away from an alliance with The Acclaimed a few years into their run on the AEW roster when the brothers started to really grow and find themselves as a tag unit.
Sure, they definitely weren't ready to hold AEW World Tag Team gold when they shockingly bested Max Caster and Anthony Bowens for the belts in February of this year.
But that victory helped give the two heelish siblings the confidence to further commit to being a set of gloriously cocky pr*cks who are only getting more brilliantly annoying by the week alongside Jay White and Juice Robinson as part of Bullet Club Gold.
It took them a few years to step out of their degenerate father's shadow and cement themselves as one of the most entertaining teams on the AEW roster, but their always outrageous Collision antics were well worth the wait.
