You don't have to be a genius to figure out why curbstomping is a bad idea.

After its ban from WWE, Seth Rollins went on record to say that it had been a joint decision to retire the finishing move, as it's not something that they would want kids to copy - and for good reason.

The most obvious cause of death here is the simultaneous blunt trauma to both the head and face, much like if you'd hit them with a sledgehammer. A more, er, skilfully administered curbstomp may also result in a condition known a "cervical dislocation" which, in turn, leads to a condition known as "dead".

This is the severing of the spinal column and cord from the skull and is sometimes used in the euthanasia of small animals and anybody else stupid enough to attempt this move.
