9 Wrestling Rumours & Reactions: WWE Bans Briefcase Fan For Life

Rumour: It sounds like Lucha Underground season 2 is less of an "if" and more of a "when and where" situation at this point.  Talent has been told they can sign dates through the end of the year; giving indications that there are no plans to film in 2015.

Reaction: This information is bolstered by executive producer, Eric Van Wagenen, who said via Reddit:

"I'd say its a 99.9% chance that a second season is happening. LU is a partnership, and each of the partners are committed to making season 2 happen. The 'To be continued...' at the end of Ultima Lucha was not just us trolling you, it was more of a promise."

He continued on by saying they are looking to raise more money via a second broadcasting partner, sponsorships, and foreign sales. With all of that going on it would be more likely that early 2016 will be when filming starts back up. There is also a filming location issue:

"As much as we all want to stay in Boyle Heights, we may need to investigate a different location for season 2. There are other locations with tax incentives or where resources are cheaper. Of course story-wise we can make anything work. We all saw Dario leave the temple and where he ends up is anyone's guess."

Can Netflix just pick these guys up already?
