9 WWE SmackDown Angles That Should Follow Money In The Bank 2017

3. Have Zack Ryder Turn On Mojo Rawley

As already mentioned, there are too many face tag teams on the SmackDown roster and only one heel duo that isn't an absolute joke. This isn't a suggestion to turn the group heel, however. It's time to send the men on their separate ways.

Mojo Rawley is surprisingly over and recently drew the attention of Steve Austin, who complimented his authenticity on a recent episode of his podcast. Ryder has been a face for the majority of his WWE career, and despite the huge pop and brief flirtation with relevancy he gained winning the Intercontinental title at WrestleMania 32, he's maxed out in his current role.

We don't know what to expect from a villainous version of Zack Ryder because we've essentially never seen it. This could be what the struggling performer needs to finally gain the attention of management and make his way up the card for an extended period of time.

Mojo has the potential to be a bigger star than anyone initially expected, and as weird as this is to write, it feels like Ryder may actually be holding him back.

The pair may get hype, but hopefully Zack doesn't stay hype.
