9 WWE Stars Who Could Be AEW's 'Lex Luger'

1. Pac

Just what is going on with Pac at the moment? The Geordie suffered an anus horribilis throughout 2018, frozen out of his WWE contract as he desperately angled for a move to anywhere but the then-moribund Cruiserweight division. In August, he finally gained his deliverance, before making a triumphant return to his old Dragon Gate stomping grounds. The revived Pac's redemption seemed complete when AEW revealed him amongst a clutch of major stars heading up the promotion, seemingly positioning the Brit in a manner many agreed he'd richly earned.

Since then, things have inexplicably fallen apart. Pac's Double or Nothing clash with Hangman Page was cancelled owing to 'creative differences', and subsequently written off the card with an angle shot at British indy Wrestle Gate Pro. He was further removed from the Fyter Fest lineup, and we've heard nothing more on the matter.

Creative differences? VISA issues? Or simply a well-devised ploy to make Pac the company's most hated heel when he gatecrashes their big October inauguration?

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
