9 WWE Superstars Who Threw Their Manager Under The Bus
5. Brock Lesnar
Brock Lesnar has never been a particularly sociable character, but he did have a productive working relationship with Paul Heyman. That is, until, The Beast became so disinterested in WWE that he refused to go out to the ring, even if it meant that his advocate would lose his job. Lesnar even threatened his manager, showing no compassion for the man who turned him into a star by simply using a microphone.
The Universal Champion's refusal to go out to the ring led to Kurt Angle terminating Heyman's contract. Though Lesnar eventually did show up, his actions proved that he only did so to take out Angle and not to save Heyman's job. Showing no compassion for his advocate, Lesnar grabbed Heyman by the face and choked him to the ground, before leaving the ring without him.
Of all the moments on this list, this one may be the most shocking. Since his return in 2012, Lesnar has trusted Heyman to do just about everything for him in WWE, and he has come to his defense in the past. While this is a great way of potentially writing Brock out, it was still unusual to see him show such a lack of regard for the only person in WWE that he had a professional relationship with.
