9 WWE Superstars Who Threw Their Manager Under The Bus
4. The Undertaker
Once upon a time, The Undertaker and Paul Bearer shared an unbreakable bond. With Bearer possessing the mystical urn, The Deadman relied on his friend to help him draw power from the sacred talisman. However, their relationship took an interesting turn in 1998, when the pair reunited and formed more of an unholy alliance than a partnership. As Bearer helped manage The Phenom's heel stable, the Ministry of Darkness, it was clear that this time around, these two shared a working relationship and nothing more.
Throughout 1999 'Taker would simply watch as Bearer ended up on the wrong ends of beatings from Stone Cold Steve Austin and the Big Show. He even stepped over his prone body once without so much as lending a hand. Whether it was down to the memory of Bearer's betrayal or just the heel persona that Undertaker had adopted, it didn't feel right seeing him conduct himself in such a cold manner.
Thankfully the two's later reunions were much more trusting like their original run together, even if they were short-lived.
