When you think of ladder matches in general, you picture a wrestler painfully climbing up to the top of a ladder, reaching up and unhooking a title belt or a briefcase. That has often been the case in TLC ladder matches, but not always. In each of the three title matches that have taken place, the champ has climbed the ladder to retain his title or briefcase yep, in 2012, Dolph Ziggler was forced to defend his Money in the Bank briefcase against John Cena, which he did successfully. In fact, Ziggler (who competes against Luke Harper in a ladder match at TLC 2014 for the Intercontinental Championship) has won two TLC ladder matches. Could this be the third? The oddball is a 2011 Triple H versus Kevin Nash sledgehammer ladder match. If that doesnt ring a bell, dont worry, most people probably are trying to forget that match happened.
