9 WWE & WCW Championships You Never Knew Existed

8. WWF Women€™s Tag Team Championship

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3-yHud3z4nk Unlike WCW€™s Six-Man gold, the World Wrestling Federation€™s Women€™s Tag Team Championship would be around longer than one year. In fact, the titles would last nearly six years. Like the WWF€™s Women€™s Championship, the tag team version was a carryover from the National Wrestling Alliance. Following the WWF€™s departure from the NWA, the Women€™s Champions -- both single and tag -- joined the Federation and brought their belts with them. The Fabulous Moolah was recognized as being the company€™s undefeated for over 27 years Women€™s Champion -- with the WWF not acknowledging any previous title holders. Velvet McIntyre and Princess Victoria entered the Federation as the Women€™s Tag Team Champions, as they held the NWA version of the belts at the time. The tag title would stick around until February of 1989, when it was unceremoniously retired, with the Glamour Girls of Leilani Kai and Judy Martin being the final champions. However, while the title had a checkered history and was rarely defended, it was featured prominently on the debut edition of the Royal Rumble in 1988. In the championship€™s greatest moment, the Jumping Bomb Angels defeated the Glamour Girls in a thrilling two out of three falls contest.
