Perhaps you might like a UK show from WWE that holds a few more memories for so many more fans? In which case it's off to Wembley we go and the summer of 1992. With business on a downturn back in the United States the WWF decided to give the booming UK market a full scale PPV show. Not only that but it was one of the 'Big Four' shows as well.

From the very opening moments of seeing Hawk and Animal of The Legion of Doom drive down the entrance aisle on motorbikes, SummerSlam 1992 is an absolute selection box of wrestling's biggest names of the time. The matches that are not so good don't really go on long enough to be offensively bad (Nailz vs Virgil is around three minutes) and they're well balanced out by some crackers such as Shawn Michaels versus Rick Martel and The Ultimate Warrior versus Randy Savage.

The main reason this show lasts so long in the memory of UK fans of the time is the Intercontinental Title match between The British Bulldog and Bret 'Hitman' Hart. This back and forth battle of brothers in law was the perfect match to headline the entire show in front of the largest crowd UK wrestling had scene up until that point. Bret's technical ability goes up against Bulldog's power and the match itself is well worth going back to.

Obviously AEW have gone back and done Wembley twice more recently but SummerSlam 1992 was the absolute pinnacle of large wrestling shows in the UK for many a year.
