A Brief History Of World Wrestling All-Stars

6. Solid Mid-Card

Propping up the main event scene, WWA had a superb pool of talent to present on the undercard. Once again comprising primarily of former WCW, WWF, and ECW names, the WWA mid-card was a who's who of wrestling.

With the likes of Eddie Guerrero, Psicosis, and Juventud Guerrera, WWA's Cruiserweight Division hearkened back to the golden era of WCW's Cruiserweight Title. Meanwhile, the addition of stars like Perry Saturn and Gangrel to the mix only bolstered the shows appeal further, while the likes of Rick Steiner, Konnan, and Disco Inferno all added to the perception of WWA as WCW's successor.

The WWA also had a wealth of undiscovered talent on their cards and gave future stars like AJ Styles, Chris Sabin, and Christopher Daniels a platform to make a name for themselves internationally. Even future WWE alum, Nathan Jones, cut his teeth as part of World Wrestling All-Stars.

Blending world-class cruiserweights with WCW/WWF star power made the undercard just as entertaining as the main event. The presence of hardcore wrestlers, such as Sabu, Crowbar, and Norman Smiley all added to the overall appeal and made the WWA cards a wrestling feast with plenty of flavours.
