AEW All In 2023: 10 Things That Must Happen

5. Sting Gets The Win

It says a whole hell of a lot that the Stinger is about to wrestle in front of 80,000 folks in 2023. Tony Khan's comments about this being Sting's best run ever were a bit much, but the guy is being used brilliantly by AEW, and it’d be so sweet from an older fan’s perspective to see him score the win for his team vs. Mogul Embassy.

Yes, he’s absolutely in the same boat as Jericho in terms of never really needing wins, but there won't be too many shows like this in the icon's future. His in-ring career has been winding down since he debuted as #AllElite, so every active wrestling appearance is there to be treasured.

Give him the win, Tony.

Besides, the 'Coffin Match' gimmick suits Stinger and Darby Allin winning more than Swerve Strickland and AR Fox. If this is the beginning of the end for Sting's career, then let him remember this night fondly forevermore.
