AEW All Out 2020: 10 Things That Must Happen

2. MJF Becomes AEW Champion

... this.

Jon Moxley has already outlasted Jericho's reign as AEW Champion by a week or so, but his stronghold on the top belt should come to an end this Saturday night. Though true MJF has years ahead of him to win World Titles (he's only 24), why wait? He's ready now.

The little prick with the angry eyes and even angrier bodyguard is one of the best promo men in the biz, and he's none-too-shoddy between the ropes either. AEW also seems like the kind of promotion that's more enjoyable with a heel in the champion role, and MJF would thrive if given that opportunity - his bragging mic work alone would be gold.

He'd be like a younger version of Jericho, and that sounds like fun. Moxley hasn't really been dynamite (pardon the pun) as champ anyway, and he's probably better off in the role of renegade chaser desperate to shut smart-assed punks like MJF up for good.

Time for a new era to begin.
