AEW All Out 2022: 10 Things That Must Happen

3. Some Of These Matches Are Short

Man, 14 matches is a lot.

Sure, three of them are on the pre-show, but 11 is still a ton for any pro wrestling event. Going in, one can't shake the feeling that Khan has kinda downplayed the importance of this pay-per-view by jamming some real last-minute booking in to round it out. Did some of these bouts need to be on the card?

Both six-man tags, the Tag Title match and even Jade Cargill vs. Athena for the TBS belt can afford to be on the shorter side. If they're not, and AEW wants to book lengthy video packages, entrances and then 15-20 minute matches for each, then this pay-per-view is going to be 76 hours long.

All Out 2022 really doesn't want to overstay its welcome. Fans already know that the show's build has been less-than compared to most AEW efforts, and Tony doesn't want to have a knackered live crowd who can't wait to leave by the time Mox vs. Punk comes on.
