AEW All Out 2023: 10 Things That Must Happen

9. Jon Moxley Becomes International Champ

Orange Cassidy has done a superb job as AEW’s championship workhorse since winning the International Title, but he needs something different and so does the belt. Sticking it on Mox might lead to the strap getting lost in the BCC shuffle, but it’s worth a go in the short-term.

He's a big name anyway, so at least the strap will stay on TV.

One can see Orange moving up the pecking order heading into 2024. Is he World Title material? Hmm, that's up for debate (does Cassidy even need that at this point in his career?!), but the guy is some worker and one of the most reliably efficient on those All Elite roster sheets.

Moxley hasn't been up to much other than bleeding all over the place recently. Perhaps winning the International Title will put more respect on that title's name and give him something more to focus on. Star-making title defences against young stars await.
