AEW Double Or Nothing 2020: 10 Things That Must Happen

8. Drew Gulak Is The Mystery Man

Drew Gulak
AEW/WWE

This is, admittedly, more wishful thinking than anything else. It always feels a bit sour whenever promotions hype up a 'mystery entrant' for a pay-per-view match and it ends up being someone who's already on the active roster. There's nothing stopping AEW from penning a newsworthy debut here.

Drew Gulak is perfect for this role.

Obviously, this is dependent on whether or not Gulak re-signs with WWE in the end. Is he done there? Would be be able to show up here? The questions are many, but they're damn intriguing and it would resonate if Drew filled the last slot in AEW's ladder match.

If he's an impossible pick, then someone like Jeff Cobb would suffice. Failing that, and if AEW have to make it someone already under contract, then a guy like Christopher Daniels isn't exactly doing much on Saturday night.
