AEW Double Or Nothing 2020: 10 Things That Must Happen
7. MJF Wins The Casino Ladder Match?!
Oh yes!
Whether Drew Gulak fills the final slot or not, your writer is advocating that Maxwell Jacob Friedman gets the nod, wins the 'Casino Ladder Match' and banks himself a future AEW World Title shot. Keep in mind another title to come too, because they'd both work in harmony this weekend.
After he'd dispatched Jungle Boy, MJF could instruct Wardlow to muscle the crap out of Luchasaurus and injure his leg. That'd force AEW management to remove Lucha from the multi-man later in the pay-per-view, and it'd leave another spot open for someone else. Wouldn't you just know it - MJF would be willing to step up.
As cool as it'd be to see someone like Darby Allin get a major win on such a big show, it does make sense that AEW would continue pushing MJF as a focal point. He's been so strong as a heel, and he's a future AEW Champion anyway.
