AEW Double Or Nothing 2021: 10 Nightmares That Could Come True

2. Sammy Guevara Joins The Pinnacle

Nightmare: That Sammy Guevara gets fed up of Chris Jericho "holding him back" and decides to swerve jump to The Pinnacle on Sunday night. Don't forget that Sammy submitted to try and save Jericho back at Blood & Guts - his character might start to question the Inner Circle's leader.

Chances Of Happening: Pretty decent.

Guevara fits the mould of a brash young upstart who'd selfishly ditch Jericho's crew to start running with MJF's. Sadly, that'd dilute The Pinnacle already. It also wouldn't make much sense considering Sammy was the one who warned Jericho about MJF's mutiny in the first place.

This is pro wrestling though. Logic often takes a backseat in favour of surprises.

The Pinnacle don't need Guevara, and he doesn't need them. If anything, post-Inner Circle, he needs to start establishing his own voice on AEW's roster away from a stable. He's been in one for a while now, so the time is right.
