AEW Double Or Nothing 2022: 10 Things That Must Happen

9. Jade Cargill Retains

There's just no way Anna Jay is the one to take that TBS Title from Jade.

AEW only handed this match a short build - it's clear that they kinda forgot all about Cargill's belt until someone blurted out, 'Oh no, Double Or Nothing is imminent!'. The whole set up reeks of last-minute booking, and Jay's refusal to blast Jade with that crutch on Rampage hasn't helped.

It's hard to see this bout electrifying the live audience, being brutally honest. Anna is Jade's next stepping stone, and it'd be a massive shocker if Tony Khan ended Cargill's title run in an afterthought challenge match like this one.

Nah, Jade wins then moves on to something more meaningful in coming weeks. This writer is a tad concerned by her whole 'Baddies' group though, and he fails to see how a spotlight hog like Cargill willingly acting like some team player is gonna pan out well for her.
