Right, enough jokes about AEW constantly referencing WWE! This would be a good one, and it'd go down well with older fans who remember rushing home from school to see Edge and Christian send poor Bubba-Ray Dudley crashing through countless tables around ringside.

Man, those were the glory days, and it's time to relive them. Sort of.

At some stage during the ladder bout at Double Or Nothing, it'd be sweet to see Christian and Luchasaurus pretend Wardlow is a Dudley by repeating that glorious SummerSlam 2000 spot. Cage has such a rich history with ladders, so it'd be a shame if AEW didn't reference that.

Failing that one, maybe Wardlow himself could send both Christian and his big extinct pal through tables, then climb another ladder to grab his strap. Excalibur and the other commentators should stop short of mentioning WWE's TLC gimmick, but All Elite can defo get away with a wink and a nod here.
