2. 'Anarchy' Is Intense More Than Comedic

Last year's 'Anarchy In The Arena' battle pitting Chris Jericho's JAS vs. Blackpool Combat Club smartly steered itself away from comedy, but that hasn't always been the case with AEW's showpiece brawls. The temptation has always been there to inject a few laughs for levity, but DoN 2023's crew should avoid that completely.

There's nothing funny about The Elite squaring off with BCC this time anyway. Members on both sides have been locked in some real vicious matches against one another; Jon Moxley alone has warred with Kenny Omega and Hangman Page in blood-soaked gimmick bouts, so trying to be cute and funny wouldn't really work.

'Anarchy' has to be 20-25 minutes of full-scale war that sets the feud up for more. Personally, this writer would put Mox, Bryan Danielson, Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta over so The Elite have cause to get even more gritty later on.
